Students at the University of Findlay recently participated in the annual Symposium for Scholarship and Creativity. Held on campus, undergraduate and graduate students were given the opportunity to share their research, creativity and professional learning experiences with the University and community.

Students at the University of Findlay were recently awarded a Town and Campus Scholarship for the 2017-2018 academic year. Town and Campus, formed in 1960 at (then) Findlay College, strives to support the students of the University of Findlay by generously donating their time, talents and resources to UF.

The history, law and gender studies faculty at the University of Findlay recently announced the 2017 initiates into the Xi-Sigma Chapter of the Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society. Phi Alpha Theta is an honor society dedicated to the promotion of the study of history. Founded in 1921, the organization encourages research, publication, and the exchange of ideas among students, teachers and writers.

Students at the University of Findlay recently participated in the theatre production, "An Evening of One Acts."

UF's University Singers recently presented the annual "Family Concert" in Winebrenner Theological Seminary's TLB Auditorium. The group performed a variety of choral music and a selection from the musical, "Les Miserables." The choir is under the direction of Director of Choral Activities, SeaHwa Jung, assistant professor of music.

The University of Findlay Concert-Chorale recently presented an annual spring concert. "Requiem" by Gabriel Faure, along with other choral works, were performed at First Presbyterian Church in Findlay, Ohio. Choral Activities Director, SeaHwa Jung, D.M.A., served as concert director.

Students at the University of Findlay were recently honored at "A Night Among the Stars." The campus event was sponsored by UF's Office of Student Activities, Commuter Services and Leadership Development.

The University of Findlay Orchestra, conducted by Thomas Carey, recently performed "A Fall Concert" in Winebrenner Theological Seminary's TLB Auditorium. UF's orchestra includes more than 50 members who range from University students and staff to community members.
