More than 55 students participated in The University of Findlay's Physical Therapy Research Forum on Feb. 27. The research forum promotes clinical research among students, faculty and community to foster and support evidence-based practice.

Abbey Herrera, a member of The University of Findlay's Student National Pharmaceutical Association (SNPhA), was recently inspired to help organize Waves of Hope, an event to benefit Children With Hair Loss, a nonprofit organization devoted to providing free hair replacement to children.

Six UF students represented The University of Findlay this month at the American Society of Animal Science meeting, Midwest section. More than 1,100 scientists attended the meeting, including two UF faculty members who also presented at the meeting.

The University of Findlay Swimming and Diving Team has achieved Scholar All American status for the 2013 fall semester. The College Swimming Coaches Association of America presented the Team Scholar All American Award to college and university swimming and diving teams who have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Four students from The University of Findlay were selected as finalists for the Japan-American Society of Central Ohio's (JASCO) 15th Annual Japanese Language Speech Contest at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.

The Dean's list for fall semester at The University of Findlay has been announced.

Katie Kohls, a sophomore English major from Columbus Grove, Ohio, submitted an abstract and was selected from more than 4,000 submissions to present her original research on "The Great Gatsby" and surrealism at the National Council of Undergraduate Research Conference, April 3-5, at the University of Kentucky.
