Mandy Heidelman Receives Nuclear Medicine Technology Certificate

Mandy Heidelman was recently recognized for receiving her Nuclear Medicine Technology certificate from the University of Findlay. Also, Heidelman received the Dr. Ann Whithaus Scholarship, the Nuclear Medicine Institute Scholarship and the HeartLight Pharmacy Scholarship. The Whithaus Scholarship is awarded to a student enrolled in the University of Findlay's Nuclear Medicine Institute one-year certification program. The student must hold a 2.5 GPA or better and demonstrate good problem-solving capabilities and an active interest in nuclear medicine. The Nuclear Medicine Institute Scholarship is awarded to students enrolled in the Nuclear Medicine Institute's one-year certificate program who have a 3.0 GPA or better. The recipient of the HeartLight Pharmacy Scholarship must be an Ohio resident who is enrolled in the Nuclear Medicine Institute's one-year certificate program at UF. The ceremony was co-sponsored by the University's Center for Alumni, Parents and Friends, and the Diagnostic Services Department.

The University of Findlay's Nuclear Medicine Program is offered by the College of Health Professions' Diagnostic Services Department in conjunction with the Nuclear Medicine Institute. The Institute has been located on UF's campus since 1984 and is the largest accredited nuclear medicine training program in the country.
